I really lost myself whilst doing this painting, 'Tuscan Grapes, grapes and more grapesy'. I used some of the copyright references given by Cindy, with her kind permission. An exercise in negative and positive painting.

It was painted on Hahnemeulle Block 32cm x 24cm. I used a limited palette in my favourite Daniel Smith paints. I painted it over a few sessions and learnt a lot. Namely, less is more!

Another subject I need to paint again sometime soon. It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle. It's also a great warm, sunny painting for this chilly February weather. Enjoy.
